Director's Cut: iMovie

One of my favorite and most frustrating projects is the iMovie I created. I decided to make my movie for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Learning how to use iMovie was really frustrating. It seemed to be more trial and error than anything else. I even read the help files at times! Once I got the hang of things, it wasn't too bad. I actually kinda enjoyed it (but don't tell anyone that). I have to say I am rather proud of my video production. I am excited to show it to my mother and my grandparents. I know they will love it!!

After the completion of my video, I was able to accept the possible applications of using movies in the classroom. Being able to create short video intros to new topics in math would make it more exciting to the students. If I had the appropriate software, I would definitely use this application in my classroom. I do have to mention that it probably wouldn't be iMovie (at least the version we used in class anyhow). There are lots of video editing software I could use instead, I would just need to research them and learn more about them.

And now, may I present my very first iMovie production, "Happy 60th Anniversary!"
